This book was amazing! I loved Kit and Pierce! The creative names made me smile. Kit is a cat shifter. She's feisty and sexy. Pierce DE VEIN (gotta love that name) is a vampire. Both of them are carrying around past pain. That pain is the source of instant tension, but the natural chemistry between the characters overcomes their resistance. This fun story will keep you laughing. I really enjoyed Kit and Pierce. They are likable. I won't spoil the ending, but this story isn't your typical 007 tale.
Dr. Cornelius Epstein aka Dr. Gnome is stealing gold and raising havoc on those being sent to capture him. Kitty Kat is a leopard shifter agent who shoots first and asks questions later. Nightwalker Pierce Devine is laidback close the case kind of guy. P.L.A.S.M.A. aka Paranormal League Against Social Menace Agency is who they both work for. P.L.A.S.M.A. doesn’t usually mix their agents. However, Kitty and Pierce get a surprise, they have been made partners. Neither one is happy about the arrangements but decide to put up with each other to get the job done. Will they survive their attraction to each other? Will they be able to work together without one of them getting killed? I enjoyed the banter between the two main characters. The book is funny, intriguing and full of action. The author did an excellent job with her characters. I recommend you give this book a read definitely worth it!
This was A fun read that made me laugh out loud a few times. Would recommend to a friend anytime.
